I am very proud to present that this year’s Ingathering was a joint venture between PA-East and NJ.   The event was held on August 3, 2019, at the Grand Lodge of New Jersey in Trenton, NJ.  The host councils for the day were James Giles Council No. 427 of NJ and Gnothi Seauton Council No. 501 of PA.

In attendance were M:.V:. Paul Stephen Newhall, Sovereign Grand Master of the Grand Council of the Allied Masonic Degrees of the United States of America;  M:.E:. David L Tucker, Grand High Priest of the Grand Royal Arch Chapter of the State of New Jersey, the R:.W:. Senior Grand Warden of the Grand Lodge of New Jersey; R:.E:. Sir Knight Matthew Macready, Grand Commander of Commandery for the State of New Jersey; R:.V:. Mohamad A. Yatim, Senior Grand Warden of the Grand Council of the Allied Masonic Degrees of the United States of America; R:.V:. Yasser Al-Khatib, Grand Superintendent of PA-East, and a host of brethren from around the tri-state area.

The day began with a wonderful presentation of the Royal Ark Mariner degree led by brethren from Gnothi Seauton in full degree regalia.

R:.V:. Moises I. Gomez, Honorary Senior Grand Deacon of the Grand Council of the AMD of the USA presented his world renowned lecture, Freemasonry and the Underground Railroad.  This is an awe inspiring lecture of the connection between Freemasonry and the aide provided to escaped slaves from the deep South.  R:.V:. Gomez has been touring the US and Europe presenting this lecture, and we were so fortunate to have him deliver it at our Ingathering.

V:. George R. Haynes presented his lecture titled, Kabbalah and My Experience.  A thought provoking and spiritual lecture about the Tree of Life, Kabbalah, and Mysticism.   A lecture not to be missed by any esoteric enthusiast.

Tours were provided to the Historic Temple of the Grand Lodge of NJ, Grand Lodge building and museum, and the Old Barracks Museum, a step back in time to visit NJ and the American revolution.

It was a splendid day of masonic light, history, ritual, and as always, great fellowship.

Fraternally submitted,

R:.V:. Michael S Neuberger, KGCRORBE
